"I have finished my first term at Saint Mary's University and it has been amazing. My finishing G.P.A is 3.75. I have met many people and had the opportunity to expand my knowledge in all the ways that I wanted to. The community is extremely nice and helpful and I never have a dull moment. Your donation helped me to get started and have all the necessary equipment to jumpstart my year."

Jodi has graduated in 2023 from the University of Ozarks with a Bachelors in Sociology. Jodi is not only a member of BSC, but she is our first academic Hope Scholarship recipient! We are so proud of her and it has been a privilege to watch her achieve her goals these past four years.

“I am currently enrolled in school at United World College of Southeast Asia and will be graduating this May completing my International Baccalaureate Diploma.  I have participated in volunteering at the Cambodia Wildlife Sanctuary in Cambodia, volunteering to help children at a local Singaporean school learn English through dance and movement, volunteering to help children learn about various countries through learning how to cook their cuisines, and served as the cultural advisors for the musical ‘Once On This Island’.

"Since receiving the scholarship I have completed Massage Therapy at BTVI and graduated with my Certification. I went back and completed Esthetics and am now what is known as a dual therapist. I've worked with Voko's Spa Experience... pop-ups at various places such as the University of The Bahamas and Kemp's Nursery, and Soothe international and attended the International Congress of Esthetics and Spa in Philadelphia last year April. It is my dream to open my own spa and so I am working diligently toward achieving it."
