Executive Board Members of 2022

Kendal v.o. Major jr

Founder & President

"What I love about BSC is that we are group of young and passion-filled individuals sharing a common goal of impacting the youth in our country in a myriad of meaningful ways. After graduating from high school I founded this organization in 2014 because I was passionate and dedicated to making an difference within my communities and ultimately my country, the Bahamas. As a young adult, I knew that an organization of young adults would be able to effectively touch and impact the lives of the youth of our country!"

D’Juan T. Seymour

Vice President

"I joined BSC in 2014; I’ve always been apart of volunteer groups and took part in many community service projects. Being a volunteer runs in my family so becoming a member of BSC was a no brainer. I decided to join BSC not only because I liked giving, but I enjoy making others smile and being there for others when they are in need of encouragement. I chose to be apart of BSC because BSC consists of young adults who are determined to make an impact on the lives of others."

Leighton J.W. Gibson

Treasurer

"I joined BSC when it was established in 2014 as apart of the founding team. I like having the opportunities to give guidance to the youth, where I can open their minds to different life and career paths that they can work towards."

Aleage A.A.Penn

Social and Volunteer Coordinator

"I joined BSC June 2016. The reason behind my involvement of BSC is due to wanting to make an impact, I want to improve my skills, to be able to learn new ones, and to share my expertise. I know what it is to struggle and I want to be able to share my experience and knowledge to help others. In BSC, I saw a group of young adults thriving to make their country a better place, which is a goal of mine and I think BSC is a great fit to help me do that.  I’m here to help BSC grow and mature into a positive foundation for the youth in our country."
